Is the emerging church movement dead?

It's kinda weird reading blogs announcing the end of a movement when so many people within the church still have no clue what "emerging church" means or that it even exists.

The best comments I have heard on the topic come from Danielle Shroyer. In a way, the title of her blog entry says it all: "What do you do when a revolution isn’t sexy anymore?"
