In the light of recent events (or rather non-events), I wonder if you'd be interested in participating in a completely hypothetical scenario. Let's call it the "Rapture Game". Here are the parameters:
Somehow you and the rest of humanity found out that an opportunity to be whisked away to a perfect place where you'd be lacking nothing was imminent and would happen beyond a doubt. And you also had a choice in the matter whether you'd want to go or whether you'd prefer to stay. The only thing you'd know for sure about the consequence of staying is that you would suffer. Nobody can tell you how much you will suffer but you'd be sure to experience the small and sometimes great trials of being part of this present world.
Now here is the kicker: you have to decide for yourself but you don't get to find out how anyone else (including those close to you) decided.
Would you stay or would you go and why?
