Our friend Lee Fischer recently posted a link to a very cool panorama picture (100 meters long!) taken from a bridge in Berlin in the summer of 2007 over a period of 20 days by Photographer Simon Hoegsberg.
It's quite fascinating to look at so many different faces of different ages, each having its own story - a story you can only guess. The title Hoegsberg chose for his picture is: " We're all gonna die!"
What came to my mind were the lines from the Beatles' song "Eleanor Rigby" (although those lyrics may not fit each and every person on this picture):
"All the lonely people - where do they all come from? All the lonely people - where do they all belong?"
